pelvic care, bodywork, somatics supervision and mentorship for burgeoning wellness practitioners
personalised somatic mentorship and education in pelvic care, bodywork and somatics for practitioners. Emphasizing nervous system literacy, embodied presence, skillful, ethical touch-based practices and expanding capacity to hold complex therapeutic processes rooted in deep care.
INTEGRATIVE PRACTITIONER MENTORSHIP
For practitioners who work with the body, the nervous system, intimacy, or the pelvic landscape, itâs essential to have a space where your questions, edges, and unfolding skillset are truly held. I offer supportive, grounded mentorship for somatic practitioners, bodyworkers, sexological bodyworkers, therapeutic bodyworkers, massage therapists and pelvic-care providers who want deeper embodiment, ethical clarity, and guidance in complex or nuanced cases.
With over two decades of interdisciplinary hands-on in clinic practice, I support practitioners in refining their touch skills, work safely with trauma (within scope of practice), understand the subtle language of the nervous system, and deepen their capacity to hold clients with integrity, attunement, and consent-centered care.
This is nurturing, not bureaucratic. A space to debrief sessions, explore challenges, strengthen clinical discernment, and expand your therapeutic range with a mentor fluent in somatics, trauma repair, sexuality, bodywork and pelvic care.
If you feel called to deepen your practice and receive supervision rooted in both skill, ethics and embodiment, youâre invited to apply below.
who is this mentorship for?
This mentorship is for practitioners seeking greater depth, nuance, and nervous-system awareness in their work. It is suited to bodyworkers, massage therapists, pelvic care practitioners, somatic practitioners, and facilitators who feel called to move beyond technique alone and into a more relational, responsive way of working with the body.
It may be a good fit if you are interested in working with bodies, pelvic care, and emotionally layered material with care, patience, skilled touch and ethical clarity. You value consent-centered touch, embodied presence, and an understanding of how your own nervous system and lived experience shape the spaces you hold with clients.
This space is designed for practitioners who appreciate both grounded knowledge and subtle inquiry. Those who value anatomy, physiology, fascia, and nervous system science alongside emotional, relational, and symbolic dimensions of healing.
If you are not seeking hierarchy or rigid protocols, but rather mentorship that supports discernment, self-responsibility, and professional maturity within a small, relational learning environment, this work may resonate.

Grounded in trauma-informed, nervous-system-aware practice, Makia brings a depth of lived experience and professional rigor to her work with both clients and fellow practitioners. Her approach integrates anatomical precision, relational attunement, and somatic literacy, supporting practitioners to work with complexity in a way that is deeply ethical, regulated, and sustainable.
These mentorships are designed for emerging and established practitioners seeking to deepen their capacity in pelvic care, bodywork, and somatic practice. Rather than offering formulaic techniques or rigid protocols, she emphasises nervous system responsiveness, consent-centered touch, and the cultivation of embodied presence as a way to offer truly attuned care. Mentorship sessions create a space to explore clinical questions, practitioner boundaries, counter-transference, and the subtle dynamics that arise when working with intimate, vulnerable, or emotionally layered material. As well as sharing more practical hands-on / hands-in skillful bodywork and richly informed by her love of anatomy and physiology. This work supports practitioners in refining how they work, not just what they do.
Based in DĂșn Laoghaire, Dublin, Makia offers somatic mentorships that support practitioners across a myriad of modalities from massage therapy, bodywork, pelvic health, somatic therapy, end-of-life care and embodied healing disciplines. Her mentorships are particularly well-suited for those who wish to practice with greater nuance, integrity, holistic inclusion, nervous system awareness and who are committed to offering care that is both deeply human and professionally grounded. This is an invitation into thoughtful, non-extractive learning that honours the practitioner, the client, and the relational field between them.
